Please Read Carefully . Important Information Below

Please be advised, if you pay your deposit/order you agree with our terms and policies.

1. Once it's determined that the date is available. You will be required to place a non refundable deposit. This deposit will be in the amount of 50% of the total cost of your order. Orders under $200 dollars has to be paid in full, no later than 7 days prior to the event date.

We serve on a first come first serve basis. We are limited in the amount of orders we accept. Without deposit no order and date is confirmed. No exceptions. 

2. We reserve the right to close our books and reject any order for any reason. After an estimate is sent, deposit has to be done no more than one week from the date of the estimate in order to confirm the order, otherwise we can’t guarantee availability. 

3. If an order is canceled by a client after a deposit is paid, this deposit will not be refunded. The deposit reserves your event date and it’s not refundable. No exceptions. We must receive the balance by the due date indicated or at delivery time in cash. We will not leave the cake without the balance paid.

4. We reserve the right to return your deposit money in full at any time and cancel your order. 

5.  The final date for any changes of size (of equal or higher value), style or flavors of the cake is 3 weeks prior to the event, except for the Colombian black cake, this cake is made a month in advance to marinate its traditional flavor. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.

6. In the event that the date of  the event is changed. We may change the date if available. Or issue you a credit for another cake of  the same value or more for the next available date (within 6 months). After an order is confirmed, we can’t make any changes, especially if the event is less than 30 days from the deposit.  

7.  We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after the setup is completed.  You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s).  Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 70 degrees or below. Should there be any issues please contact us immediately before accepting the cake. 

8. If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Aroma Desserts & More, LLC possession.

9. The cake might be delayed due to traffic conditions, we try our best to be on time but there is no guarantee. 

10. Please note that we only deliver Thursday to Sunday and only for orders $200 and up. You are responsible to be there waiting for the cake, if the delivery person has more than one cake to deliver they will leave for the next delivery and you will have to wait when he is done and there will be an extra charge.

11. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

 12. Delivery or Pick Up appointments. If a time it’s being set for a delivery or pick up and for some reason we can’t be there, we will reach out to the client to let them know. As well, we ask  the customer to do the same. If a client schedules a pick up time and doesn’t show up, we will charge an additional $25 dollars for each 30 minutes of delay. Please respect our time the same way we respect yours.

Tasting and How to Save Leftovers 

Tasting: This is for cakes 100 servings and up only and has to be done at least two months before the event date. 

Appointments for tasting will be held Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after 4pm only. We do not hold tastings on weekends. 

Samples will consists of 3 mini cakes or cupcakes (3 cake flavors + 3 filling/frosting): $30.00; 

Storage of Frosted/Fondant Covered and Uncut Cakes/Cupcakes: 

The frosting actually acts like plastic wrap on any cake, protecting the cake from air and moisture in the environment. 

Please keep any frosted/fondant covered cake leftover refrigerated, and it will last for 3-4 days. Keep it in her box to protect it from anythings in the air (plastic wrap isn't necessary and would smoosh up the lovely frosting/fondant). 


Stands and Columns 

     If your cake requires equipment such as columns, cake plates, stands,  or special support or structures, a returnable security deposit of $150 must be paid in order to ensure safe return of the equipment. We will return this security deposit when the equipment is returned to us in original condition no later than 24 hours past the event date.

Payments, Deposits & Estimates

For estimates, please email us at ORDERS@AROMADESSERTS.COM with a detailed information of your request. We don't do estimates over the phone.

A deposit of 50% is required to reserve a spot in our calendar.  Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable. Balance has to be paid by the due date indicated in the invoice, no later than 1 week prior to delivery. Until payment is made, you do not yet have an order with us. If payment in full is not made on due date, then your order is cancelled, and remember the initial deposit is non-refundable. No exceptions.

Deposits must be made no less than 30 days from the date of your event. 

Any order under $200 has to be paid in full to be confirmed, no later than 7 days prior to the event date.

After an estimate is provided to a client, we will hold it for upto 7 days only.  

Deposits for large orders or weddings have to be made no later than 7 days after an estimate is sent, and 4 weeks prior to the event. 

We accept: Cash, Zelle, CashApp, and Venmo, PayPal, Debit/Credit cards. 


Delivery

We only do deliveries from Thursday to Sunday and only for orders $200 and up. For orders below $200, clients must pick up. We calculate delivery fee using the official US mileage rate for the Metro-Atlanta area, if the event venue is located over 25 miles of Lawrenceville, GA, the client must pick up their order. During Summer, because of the hot weather, we only deliver in the morning hours before noon.
