My Story

My name is Anna, an Italian-Venezuelan who came to the USA, 20+ years ago, looking for a better future and pursuing the American Dream!

I graduated in law school and practiced as an attorney for many years, in Caracas-Venezuela, but I always had an art vocation. I love to sculpt, craft, drawing, painting and create, since I was a child. One day I decided I wanted to bake and decorate cakes, so I took some classes, started practicing, and embarked on this journey of the sugar craft. What started as a hobby, today is my passion and it’s very important to do what makes you happy. It’s a dream come true and everything that it is made with love, it's well made, is delicious, and is beautiful. 

Today, I’m the owner of Aroma Desserts and More, and I recreate my clients dreams on cakes so people can build memories on their special celebrations.

Training & Certifications 

I proudly graduated as a Pastry Chef, Confectioner, and a Cake Designer from CECUC - Center for Culinary Studies of Coahuila-Mexico.

I have completed a Cake Designer Professionalization from Luma's Cake International Academy  in Paris, France. See me here...

I have completed all levels of the Wilton school courses in the United States. As well as different workshops and classes with renowned Local and International pastry and sugar artists such as Karen Marie Portaleo, Reva Alexander-Hawk, Nicholas Lodge, Marta Hidalgo (Spain), Marc Suarez (Spain), Lucia Loro (Argentina), Noemi Lopez (Spain), The Vanillos,Lilly & Willy (Mexico), Dany OrSan (Mexico), and others. I always try to prepare, train, and update myself to be able to offer the highest quality standards.

I am a graduate from "AVANZANDO JUNTAS"  An ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM FOR LATINA WOMEN from The Latin American Associations, in Atlanta, GA. 

Highlights

We have been featured and published in different magazines such as Voyage ATL , Canvas Rebel, Subkit, Savvi Kids Magazine, Hecho A Mano Atlanta 2nd Edition, Revista El Venezolano, Bold Journey, Cake Collaborator Magazine June 2024 Edition. 

We have competed at The Wilton Summer Challenge (1st Place) , SOFLO Cake and Candy Expo, and Greatest Baker!

Also featured on platforms like Satin Ice, Marvelous Molds, Cake Central, Tumblr, and Restaurant Guru. 

We are a member of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; Latin American Chamber of Commerce in the State of Georgia; I am a Sugar Angel for Icing Smiles; Cookies 4 Kids; and loyal supporters for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
